Henry Dormitzer is an Experience Design major at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. His work focuses on an individual's interaction with every day objects. He has a particular interest in materials and how they can convey a desired feeling in a user. He works mainly in wood but often brings metals, plastics, and other materials to projects as warranted. The challenge of new materials and the skills required to work with them are welcome. His works often employ new technologies such as CNC and computer aided design; however, he is versed in old fashion techniques when appropriate. In most cases, the process of building an object will reveal which technique is most suitable.
